Your responsibilities and registration obligations

In order to use Connect2dots.com or certain parts of it, you may be required to register for a user account on this web site; in this case, you agree to provide truthful information when requested, and -- if a minimum age is required for eligibility for a user account -- you undertake that you are at least the required age. Using Connect2Dots – General requirements

You will post in the appropriate category or area and will not do the following things:

•  Harvest or otherwise collect information about others, including e-mail addresses, without their consent
•  Be false or misleading
• Distribute or contain spam, chain letters, or pyramid schemes
• Distribute viruses or any other technologies that may harm Connect2Dots or the interests or property of Connect2Dots users
• Bypass measures used to prevent or restrict access to Connect2Dots
• Impose an unreasonable load on our infrastructure or interfere with the proper working of the Connect2Dots
  

Your conduct

You agree that all information or data of any kind, whether text, software, code, music or sound, photographs or graphics, video or other materials ("content"), made available publicly or privately, will be under the sole responsibility of the person providing the said content, or of the person whose user account is used.

You agree that this web site may expose you to content that may be objectionable or offensive. The site editor will not be responsible to you in any way for content displayed on this web site, nor for any error or omission. By using this web site or any service provided, you explicitly agree that:

WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO DETERMINE WHAT IS APPROPRIATE AND THE RIGHT TO CHANGE OR DELETE ANY ADS AS NECESSARY.

Business Listings

You may use the Web site to add, amend and/or update a Business Listing, solely on the terms and conditions of this Agreement.

All Content must:

• Be complete and accurate;
• Be supplied in the manner and format specified on the Web site or as otherwise directed by Connect2Dots;
• Not be of a nature likely to bring the Web site or Connect2Dots into disrepute; and
• Comply with all laws, regulations, standards and relevant industry codes.

You must not:

• Post Content for a business that is not located in Canada and the USA;
• Add or amend a Business Listing where you do not have the express authorization of that business to do so;
• You must provide Connect2Dots with a copy of the authorization on request.
• Upload, post, transmit, publish or otherwise make available any Accessible Content that You do not have a right to make available under any law, regulation, rule or code or under contractual or other legal relationships;
• Upload, post, transmit, publish or otherwise make available any false, misleading, inappropriate, profane, defamatory, abusive, threatening, obscene, indecent or unlawful Accessible Content;
• Infringe the intellectual property rights of others; or
• Breach a law including, without limitation, any law that restricts advertising of a profession.

If any of the information in the Business Listing for your business changes, becomes out of date, or no longer complies with this Agreement, you must:

• Immediately amend your Business Listing so that it complies with this Agreement; and/or
• Immediately notify Connect2Dots.

You acknowledge and agree that by posting Content onto the Web site, you consent to being contacted (on an ongoing basis) via any of the contact details contained in that Content, including (without limitation) where such contact involves receiving information about products or services which we think may interest you from Connect2Dots or any Connect2Dots authorized third party.

 Intellectual Property Rights

The Web site and the Database are owned and operated by Connect2Dots. You acknowledge and agree that all intellectual property rights comprised in or relating to the Web site and the Database belong to Connect2Dots or our licensors, and that nothing in this Agreement constitutes a transfer of any intellectual property rights.

Submissions

Subject to the terms and conditions of our Privacy Statement, should you submit any notes, messages / billboard postings, ideas, suggestions, concepts or any other material to our website, such information shall be deemed to be non-confidential. You are thereby assigning all your rights in them to us, and waive all moral rights therein for the term of the right, the whole on a perpetual, irrevocable and world-wide basis. Consequently, you give us the right to publish, in any form, and agree that we have the right to publish the material for any type of use.

You acknowledge and agree that we will have the right (but not obligation), at our entire discretion, to refuse to publish, or to remove, or to block access to any content you provide, at any time and for any reason, with or without notice.

Connect2Dots collects uses and shares personal information and post it publicly through your advertising.  If you choose to provide us with personal information, you are consenting to the collection, storage, and transfer of that information.  Private information collected by Connect2Dots are your personal contact information, e-mail addresses, sign-on data, statistics on page views and traffic and advertising data, IP (Internet Protocol) address, and standard web information.  You may take steps to disable the cookies on their browser in order to limit transfer of such information.  However, this may affect their ability to use the site.
